As expected, the same shop assistant, whom I learned was called Nicole, didn\u2019t disappoint. She treated Danielle\u2019s grandma with the same rudeness and disdain she had shown my Gran. \u201cOh, dear, these dresses are far too fashionable for you. Maybe you should try a store for older women,\u201d she sneered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the grandma continued to browse more dresses, Nicole couldn\u2019t keep her disdain inside and added, \u201cWe don\u2019t carry sizes that large. Perhaps you should consider losing some weight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After trying on a few options, Gran found a gorgeous emerald green dress that made her eyes sparkle. \u201cWhat do you think, Leighton?\u201d she asked, stepping out of the fitting room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
