Mother-in-Law Snoops on Daughter\u2019s Texts \u2014 Son-in-Law Intentionally Sends Messages to Catch Her in the Act<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man avenged his nosey mother-in-law by sending his wife a text that made her mother question their relationship. His wife thought the situation was funny, but her mother did not.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man was married to his wife for a while and thought she was an incredible woman. The only issue was that her mother was quite nosey, which bothered her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man noticed that any time his wife left her phone unattended, her mother would pick it up and go through it. He thought it was strange, but his wife felt it was the remnants of her mother\u2019s controlling nature from when she was younger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the woman didn\u2019t think it was a big deal, the man did not enjoy his mother-in-law\u2019s snooping because he felt that he and his wife discussed things he didn\u2019t feel were anybody else\u2019s business. So, he found a way to get revenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Christmas, and the man\u2019s mother-in-law had visited to celebrate the holiday with them. He said she was enjoyable, had a great attitude, and was pleasant to be around, except for her snooping and prudish behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At some point in the day, the man\u2019s wife left her phone unattended on the kitchen counter. He shared<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI had a brilliant idea.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The man left his mother-in-law in the kitchen with his wife\u2019s phone and went to the bathroom, where he began composing a text to his wife that he knew would shock the mom when she read it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He called<\/a> the text \u201csexually depraved\u201d as it contained everything he would do to her when everyone had left the house later that day. He admitted that he and his wife had not even done some of the things he mentioned, but he wanted the text to be extremely shocking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the man sat in the bathroom, he heard an audible gasp from his mother-in-law in the kitchen, and at that moment, he knew she had read the sexually explicit text. When he exited the bathroom, he said<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I went out her mother absolutely would not look me in the eye. Then, not-so-discreetly asked her daughter to come talk to her in the other room.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After a while, the two women returned to the living room. Initially, the man thought his wife had been crying. However, upon closer inspection, he realized she was laughing. He shared<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer mother had questioned her about me sexually abusing her and if I always talk down to her like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The woman assured her mother that her husband was not abusing her and emphasized that whatever they did in private was their business. The man felt it was the best Christmas gift he had ever received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While some found the man\u2019s story amusing and admired his way of dealing with his nosy mother-in-law, others thought the woman\u2019s mother had crossed boundaries and needed to be put in her place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They suggested the man needed to take steps to prevent his mother-in-law from accessing his wife\u2019s texts, with some recommending he should have a conversation with her. Despite all the comments, the man said he was not interested in discussing the issue with his mother-in-law, and his wife didn\u2019t have to either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
