On May 18, 2019, an anonymous woman shared her story on Reddit’s “Nuclear Revenge” forum. The woman and her boyfriend shared a love that had lasted for nine years. Their relationship had stood the test of time, and on their seventh anniversary, he proposed to her, bringing tears of joy to her eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They then meticulously planned their wedding but decided to wait two years, hoping to save up enough for their dream celebration and their future together. Although their families were overjoyed, the woman’s mother-in-law, whom she referred to as “CM,” seemed to hold an inexplicable grudge against her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the start, CM was openly disdainful, calling the post<\/em> ‘s author a gold-digger and, worse still, a prostitute, despite the woman’s successful career and the respect her family commanded in their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did the wedding go wrong?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the months leading up to the wedding, CM took malicious pleasure in sowing chaos. He meddled in the details of the wedding, changing invitations, seating arrangements and even the menu without consulting the couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each change forced the woman to rush and rectify the situation, often at double cost. Amid the confusion, the unwavering support of her fianc\u00e9’s grandparents and her own grandmother provided a much-needed anchor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM’s taunts intensified, even reaching the woman’s prized wedding dress. The dress, a labor of love, was handmade by her mother’s best friend, who was like a second mother to her. It took a year and three months to complete, making it a prized masterpiece. However, CM’s audacity knew no bounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two months before the wedding, CM stole the dress and cruelly destroyed it, leaving the woman in a state of shock and despair. The wedding day arrived, but the groom was conspicuous by his absence, leaving the woman devastated. CM took the opportunity to humiliate her even further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anguish of women<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Amidst the anguish, the author of the post<\/em> discovered that her fianc\u00e9 was having a year-long affair with a mutual friend he called \u201cUH.\u201d Emboldened by CM\u2019s support, UH openly tormented her, boasting about his relationship with the woman\u2019s now \u201cspineless ex-fianc\u00e9\u201d (SF) and spreading malicious rumors about her. His attacks extended to her family, questioning their integrity and honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the woman’s fury, she initially held back, following her grandmother’s advice not to escalate the situation further. Her desperation reached a breaking point, leading her to consider revenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grandma’s Epic Revenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The author of the post<\/em> confided in her wise grandmother, who advised her not to retaliate. Instead, the grandmother advocated a strategic retreat. Trusting her grandmother’s judgment, the woman left her hometown, breaking ties with everyone except her beloved grandmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When she returned after two years, she discovered the devastating consequences of CM and UH’s actions. Their absence had taken its toll on her grandmother, whose once radiant smile had faded, replaced by a melancholic expression. However, when the truth about CM, UH and SF came to light, her grandmother revealed her cunning side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UH’s affair with a married boss led to a messy divorce, the revocation of her license for moral turpitude, and legal repercussions for embezzling funds from her workplace. CM’s marriage fell apart when her previously timid husband filed for divorce, seeking to escape her toxic influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SF was on the verge of getting a major promotion, about to take over as head of the department. This opportunity was monumental, considering that it would have made him the youngest boss in the company’s history. However, the whole prospect was undone by the scandal and the close family relationship between SF’s boss (who happened to be the husband of the woman’s second mother).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for what happened to her ex-fianc\u00e9, the woman recalled:<\/a> “SF was not fired from his job because the boss thought it would be an easy way out, and because my grandmother told the boss that firing SF would be ‘wrong and unprofessional’ and played her sweet old lady card again.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grandma strikes again<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a brief update to the original post<\/em> , the woman said her grandmother had encountered UH at the supermarket and had struck up what seemed like a friendly conversation. Despite her grandmother’s polite demeanor, UH reacted aggressively, raising her voice. A shopper observed the confrontation and immediately alerted the store manager and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When questioned about the incident, UH recounted the encounter angrily. The grandmother, pensive, defused the tension by pretending she had turned to UH for help finding the right cooking oil, using her forgetfulness as an excuse. The manager sided with the grandmother, and onlookers stepped in to offer help and support, leaving UH visibly uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“SF ended up alone and humiliated after his girl cheated on him with his boss, his mom ended up alone, and the little bitch is pregnant by a guy who lost everything in a divorce, they both got caught stealing and may end up getting arrested. Nothing like good old karma,” said<\/a> another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
