Parents leaned toward each other. My mother was there at my graduation, and everyone was watching us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She grabbed my hand. \u201cYou belong with me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDad, what is she talking about?
